After unifying the WBC and WBO junior welterweight titles, Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford improved to 29-0 (20 KOs) with a lopsided victory over Viktor Postol (28-1, 12 KOs). Crawford is clearly the top dog at 140 and may have his eyes set on a move to 147 where Danny ‘Swift’ Garcia, WBC champion, resides. Garcia gets called out more than any other fighter in the sport and Crawford is the latest to start Twitter beef him.
Bud wasn’t done yet. He subtweeted Garcia with a rhetorical question that Garcia has yet to address.
Then he continued with another question to Garcia about the level of his competition. Something many people have questioned at times.
#GarciaCrawford isn’t something we will see anytime soon since Top Rank and PBC currently don’t have a business relationship. Plus, Garcia may make Crawford move up in weight and win a few fights at 147 before giving him a shot at the title. In the meantime, all we can do is hope this war of words turns into the war of wars at some point in the near future.
